OUR FAMILY READS!

The Our Family Reads Initiate promotes literacy as a family activity that is central to academic success and ultimately to positive vocational and economic outcomes. Since we want our children to stay on top of their reading, PLAN is challenging 200 Bay Area families to read to their children and youth for at least 20 minutes a day.
This new initiative responds to parents concerns regarding student learning during the pandemic and builds family. We want children age up to age 18 to connect more with parents and siblings through family time. We want families to together discover new books, and stimulate the creativity and imagination of our young people during a time that is both new and scary.
CHALLENGE INCLUDES:
Free Children’s Books
